The topology optimization for the steel cylinder silo diaphragm

Abstract:

The steel cylinder soil diaphragm becomes easily unstable and deformed when the drop of two sides of the material is significantly, which is not conducive silo unloading unblocked and production safety. 2D and 3D model of the steel cylinder silo in the factories and mines are built in this paper. The mathematics and mechanics model on the condition of the steel cylinder silo diaphragm’s one side is empty, and the other is full is established. SIMP topology optimization design with uncertainty theory on steel cylinder silo diaphragm’s stiffness optimization design is carried out. Uses image processing technology to deal with the topology optimization results, then provide data for shape optimization in the following. Application shows that the optimization result is ideal.
